I always say if someone asked me if Transformed was on my radar years ago, the answer would have been no.

Truthfully, it happened quickly.

It’s hard to think of our story and not see God's hands written all over it. And for that? We are so grateful.

Launch(the salon Christa and I met at) closed as we knew it. Christa and I found ourselves at another rental salon. I was pregnant and every day we went to work, something was missing. We knew that something big had to change or I wouldn't be back from maternity leave. So, one day, Christa came to work and said what if we just reached out to a realtor and started looking around? And in that moment, I said, what could it hurt? Little did I know quite how fast it would go once we found our salon home. We looked everywhere and had several options, one other, that we even signed on. But nothing that compared to this one January day in 2021 when we walked into what is now Transformed Hair Design.

Have you ever walked into a space that you could envision so clearly that you were meant to be there? It was intense and yet exhilarating in the best way. It was scary, yet we never felt more at peace. You see, when Gods hand is in it, there is just a peace that is inexplicable even when you are about to take a huge leap of faith.

Since that day, we never looked back. We had a space and a dream, now we just had to fill it with stylists and clients that inevitably become our Transformed Family.

You see, that's one thing we hope you notice the second you walk in our doors. This isn't a salon that everything is transactional and in and out. We want to hang out with you. We want you to feel comfortable no matter what stage of life you are in. We care about you and your hair.

The Definition of Transformed: [verb] To Change on Appearance or Character

Our name is inspired from Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's Will is-His good, pleasing, and perfect Will."

At the end of the day, our purpose isn't hair or having a cute space. It's shedding the light of Jesus on all who enter. But while we are at it? Lets also Transform some beautiful hair. That's why we loved the name so much. Not only does it speak to our faith, but also our craft. We can't wait to see where our story continues to go. Our hearts and minds our open to whatever God continues to put in our path.
